The Danielson Framework for teaching gives teachers a guide as to how they should behave in the classroom and what kind of a classroom environment they should be building. There are 4 "Domains" within the framework, and each one has elements and details within them. On this page I am going to show you how I plan to implement each of the four domains and their elements.
First Domain: Knowledge of Content, Pedagogy, and Students (Planning and Prep)
here I would make sure my lesson plans revolve around the student's strengths, what they want to learn and show interest in, etc.
I would make sure that I know my material and have a lesson plan in place to teach.
Second Domain: Classroom Environment
I want to make my classroom a safe place for my students
I also want to make it a place where they can learn
I would keep it organized, neat, and clean
Third Domain: Instruction
I will make sure expectations are clear
I will try to present the information in a way that is engaging and understandable to my students,
Fourth Domain: Professional Responsibilities
Being a teacher doesn't mean you stop learning
I will attend seminars and teacher conferences to better help my students
I will constantly be growing my breadth of knowledge to teach them more
