Nearpod is an amazing presentation tool that teachers can use. It's basically a slide show, but a lot more interactive. You can have simulations in your presentation for your students to interact with. You can record your own voice to give instructions. Students can draw their answers out and participate in polls and open ended questions. Again, it is a presentation, but a lot more fun! I think this fits very well into engaging your students in learning from Domain 3. It uses different question and answer techniques, which is also Domain 3, to engage students in the lesson and help them learn. The polls located within the nearpod act as a great formative assessment tool in assessing your student's learning. It's also a great way to get student feedback. I think this would be a great tool to use in the classroom depending on age and technological availability! It's a great formative assessment tool to help me as the teacher gage where my students are at. It's a fun, interactive way to really get my kids into the lesson as well. Yes, depending on what age I am teaching I can definitely see myself using this tool in my future classroom. It's very similar to google slides with a few more little addons. As far as the 4 Cs go, this activity definitely falls into creativity and critical thinking. Activities like the drawing one promote creativity. Depending on what question you ask, open ended ones can lead to students using their creative brains. As the teacher, you have to come up with this stuff, so it requires some creativity on your part! Critical thinking is a little straight-forward: you're asking students for answers. They have to think about the answer to get the right one and use their brains! Going off of the creative theme, the ISTE standard 1.6: Creative Communicator fits perfectly with this. Students are creatively communicating their answers to you via your interactive lesson!
